Deepu Kochuparambil was born to a beautiful mother (who gets her looks from him) and a cheesy father (who must have gotten that from one of Deepu's sisters).  He grew up and was cast in a very important role as the 10 of Spades in his elementary school's play Alice in Wonderland.  After that life-changing performance, he stuck with music as his performing art, playing the trumpet and the piano.

Deepu earned his B.A. in Social Science to go into teaching, and is slowly, but not surely, working on his teaching credential. He has been working in Youth Ministry at his church for the past 8 years, and when he's not flexing his biceps as Zzyzx, he's flexing them for Jesus.

Deepu became involved with Moxie Spendlove through the Andes, who know him through youth ministry.  Apparently when asked for a guy who was dumb & pretty, Deepu was the first person who popped into Andi's head.
